Brand Identity
Meadowland Smokery is a smokehouse based in rural Colyton, Devon, specializing in premium smoked eel using a closely guarded traditional method. Since 2017, their award-winning, hand crafted produce has been featured in over 50 Michelin-starred UK restaurants and supplied wholesale to top-tier dining establishments nationwide.
The client needed a brand refresh to better align with the gourmet food market. I developed a new name and a more sophisticated logo that captures the essence of their flagship product (smoked eel) and the bulrushes surrounding their headquarters. The result is a distinctive, meaningful mark that communicates quality, heritage, and pride.
